You're able to find Mavericks at gunitpaintball.com for $83, free shipping. Only place I know where you can find them new.

I like the idea of running a Trracer with a 70-45. That's got to be like jamming a stick into a pumpkin.

hahaha its just the right length to be comfortable for me, not like I want to run it with a 48/30 steelie.

I've since sold the gun, but how do you fix such a problem?

depends on what's causing it. The early Trracers / mavericks didn't have hte feature - but the more recent ones did. basically it locked the pump arm forward after the gun was cocked until you shot - stopping you from double pumping.

maybe yours was worn and wasn't catching quite right. It does interface with the firing mechanism - so I suppose if it wasn't engaging right it might be causing problems at the trigger end.

dunno what the specific problem would have been - but that's my guess.

I plugged your numbers into an inflation calculator...what would have cost $80 in 1995 costs $111.98 today. A Phantom base model pistol goes for about $190 so that's not very far off.
