I can't believe you guys are arguing about autotriggers and the possible merits of banning them in a pump league. Don't you think gaining critical mass for such a thing to succeed won't be difficult enough without adding additional hurdles? The vast majority of players that exist outside the MCB/SCP/etc circle see the fact that you have to pump the gun as a major limitation in itself, if they are aware of it at all. Then you have a chicken and the egg scenario when convincing a manufacturer to take a risk on producing parts specifically for an unproven tournament series. Combine that with the bad economy and all your going to do is exclude 99% of nelson owners leaving sheridan based guns where the autotrigger is more of an add on and end up figuratively shooting yourselves in the foot. If you want to raise the bar on entry, that's fine. Just don't be surprised when the wealthy and heavily sponsored are the only ones that show up to play. Kind of sounds like what's happened with the ailing high rate of fire supergun tourney ball doesn't it? As far as I'm aware as long as the reg doesn't hold pressure when changing 12ies then it should be stock legal. Otherwise it could be considered a check valve.

poll up regarding tech on 68caliber. please go and take it so that we can begin to refine the audience for this thing and settle in on some standards. I think that gravity feed only is def going to be in. I'd like to have some good discussion from folks as to why an agitating hopper is NOT gravity feed. (Right now my thoughts are - all the paddle does is knock the balls towards the gravity feed outlet. there's no assist...) good comment on taking batteries out of revvies (except, make sure you align the paddles properly, lol). Gogged_girl: yes - play the rules as they are written - once they are written. that has not happened yet.
