Hey Rifle, My previous post was pretty informal. I have attached a picture of snakewood. Please let me know if you are able to work with this type of wood. I have not worked with it but have heard that it isn't like normal wood. Thank you. |

I haven't made any snakewood grips but do know the wood, it's very nice. What type of grips were you looking at again? I'm currently watching a snakewood item on ebay that would only work for 45 pannel grips.

I've been looking online and it's tuff finding a piece large enough to do a wrap around grip. I'll have to check my local store to see if they have any in stock. It prices out at 16.99/lb there and snakewood is dense.
