Also, with the extra cylinder, how are the paintballs kept in it? ie. can we keep the extra cylinder loaded with paintballs, in a pouch and just pop it in (kind of like a clip loaded tib pistol)?
I suspect so, but I won't really know until I make them. Making 1 or 2 will definately not be at that price. Making a batch of 10 or more at a time would be more likely. IE get a group together.

$25 is better than the $30 plus markup and materials I was quoted from a machine shop I do a lot of business with.

Reload is fairly straight forward. Cradle the marker in your hand and push the pin out with your thumb ( left hand). Push the old cylinder out with the new and line it up with the body. Push the pin back in and turn the cylinder till it clicks.

The way I look at the cylinders guys...3357 cylinders still sell for about 25 bones, and even if you're not planning on reloading with cylinders (use 10 round tubes and the springfeed instead), it's probably a good idea to have at least one, just in case 5 years down the line your dog chews one up, you'll have a spare. Also, unlike 3357s there won't exactly be a bunch of cylinders floating around, so dukie or another machinist will need to make more and will need a drawing or model to work from...

Just a thought.

first strike/standard cylinders will both be the same price. Hopefully I can make them identical so you can use one cylinder for either. I'll see how the CNC handles milling the pockets out.

Yea but I'm hoping we don't. It would be awesome to load the cylinder with First Strike rounds and the spring feed with regular paint.

Cool

If I wanted to swap cylinders when it's fully loaded, can the spring feed be; I'm not sure how to say it, retracted?
With a T9/T4 you lose one round when you change modes.

I'd rather not have to commit to 5 before switching back.
I guess I could run with the plug on F.S. days.
