Would First Strike Rounds fit in the cylinder?

I am going to try to make the cylinders holes flat bottomed. If that works well all cylinders will be first strike capable. If it does not, I will need to make up some special cylinders in a different way for first strikes. Either way there will be first strike cylinders available.

Dukie, for those that want pps barrels-The paintball are fired from the cylinder, which has it's own detents right? So wedgits are not needed and would be more like a speed bump correct?

Your right, the detents are in the cylinder. I don't see any point in wedgits other than as speed bumps in this situation.

I just got back home on thursday morning so I have not spoken with the anodizer. They may offer clear, I don't know. Its definately going to cost more though since it would go through a different processing line plus it would take more prep on my end.

you have a checkbook right? Time and material gets expensive but you can get what you want.

Just to give you an example those hardline fittings are $15 EACH, thats just for starters.

I can make 2 bore size if we can agree on them, don't be upset if I cannot do 4 different! I want to keep the cost low. We can have the tip threaded or plain just like dukie design.
The threaded tip barrel could be 10''(Tip not included in the lenght) and the plain 11.5''?? The springfeed is sticking out of 9.5'' to give an idea.


Freak boring is not a option as I already asked them.

Just to let you know I think it will be 40$-50$+ per barrel depending on the options(the 50+ is if you take many tips).

The barrel are made in Canada too

Is there any way we can see a video of the completed gun put through a 12 gram's worth of paint? I'd also love to see some reports on efficiency and velocity at this point. Just want to know what I'm getting into.

The prototype is not in my hands, it is out for testing. I'll take some video when I get it back if you would like.

I had it up to 275 at one point and got 24 shots off a 12 gram. It was just once mind you. I gave up trying to get counts off of it because I kept blowing up that soupy leftover castle paint in the barrel. Not anywhere close to round and IMPOSSIBLE to shoot through without breaking more. I'm still not making a commitment to an efficiency number though.

I have no idea what speed its shooting now since the chrono died before I sent it out, and I had been messing with it. But if I can do it once I should be able to do it again. I'll be messing with the prototype's' some more as I start machining anyways and making sure it is I can get repeatable results between units.
