| Brown Chicken, Brown Cow. Join Date: May 2006 | 'Ranger' / Survival Bracelets For Sale (also key chains, knife fobs, and more) For sale in this thread will be a myriad of 550 Paracord creations including made to order bracelets / keychain's / knife fob's / dog & cat collars etc. For those uninitiated into 550 cord. It is the military cord used for a myriad of things and has the name 550 cord for it's strength - 550 pounds. For more on the cord look here: Parachute cord - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The bracelets I am selling are made from 550 cord of various colors with a countoured slide buckle enclosure. The knots are held tight by melting the ends and a dab of superglue to ensure thier tightness and security. They are pre-shrunk, almost indestructable, and look pretty cool. Plus there is almost a foot of cord for every inch of bracelet. The 'Survival' idea here is that if you were ever in a survival situation (i.e. got lost) you would have abot 10 feet of high quality cordage with you - a commodity in short supply in the bush. Here is what they look like in thier most pure form (Version One): ![]() Here is a dual color version (Version Two) : ![]() Here is one with a double underlayment for a more beefy look (Version Three) : ![]() Seen above is also a Dual Color version with underlayment (you get about a foot more cord when you double up the underlayment as well) Version Four: Here is a picture of the difference between single underlayment and double: ![]() Colors: Black, Olive Drab, and Tan. I can certainly get a LOT more colors in - look here for colors: Supply Captain: 550 Paracord Price: The price for a bracelet is 16 dollars shipped (to the lower 48) with some added for Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii. How to Order a Bracelet: Step One: Decide what version you want with what color or color combination. If you want a color combo - be sure to note what color you want as the dominant color and what you want as the outside color. For example the bracelet pictured here: ![]() has a Olive Drab dominant color with a tan outside color. Step Two: Measure your wrist (if you do not have a flexible tape measure - simply use a string - mark the string and lay it next to a rigid tape measure). Add an inch to this measurement and give me the total. An inch, I have found, makes the fairly ridgid bracelet lay comfortably and look right. Step Three: Paypal a total with instructions to jmoulenbelt@hotmail.com I do these on demand and I should have them to you in a week or two. 16 dollars shipped for the first bracelet and 14 dollars more for every bracelet beyond the first. That double underlayment bracelet was made by someone else - I didn't have one of my own for picture purposes. I will change this as soon as I make another one. | Brown Chicken, Brown Cow. Join Date: May 2006 | Knife Fobs: I can also make Knife Fob's / Key Chain's. I have a few sampled here in round sinnet's, square sinnets, snake knots and more: ![]() ![]() ![]() These are mostly in the idea phase - but I can certainly work with you to figure out a look, size and application. I will be adding to this portion as I get more made. The stuff you see above would be about 12 - 16 dollars depending on length, knot style, and additions (clip rings, beads, and the like). Let me know. TF |

| Brown Chicken, Brown Cow. Join Date: May 2006 | I can also make dog collars: ![]() These will be made by order and cost will vary - the one above is 18 inches (double the length of the average bracelet) and would be about 28 dollars shipped. These may take a little longer to make. Let me know. TF |

| Stitching through Winter | Oooo- those are really nifty. I like the keychains a lot, as well as the bracelets. Could a bracelet work as an anklet if size was taken into account? If I wanted one in red or any other color you don't have handy, is it an extra cost? How long do you think it would take? Also, are you shipping USPS?

| Brown Chicken, Brown Cow. Join Date: May 2006 | Could certainly work as a anklet. Would be thick. They come very rigid and break in over a few wears. Let me know what color you want - I can order it and it might take an extra week (just to get it in stock) the bracelet only takes a day or so. If you have an ankle size of 8 - 9 inches or so - same price. I ship usps right now to keep costs down - if you want faster or another way - maybe add a little to cover shipping. Carter - I got your order - I will ship by this weekend. TF |
