I had issue with the new post office I'm going to. I moved 4 months ago and this post office doesn't do things the same way. I only moved 30 minutes away and its like another country. There trying to say its a parcel when in fact its a first class letter. I'm very sorry for the issue I'm getting it fixed.

Got mine today and it is awesome, however post office made me pay $0.89 to get it?????? I see your explanation but my postal carrier said there was not enough first-class postage on it??

Got mine today as well but had to pay $1.27. Not a big deal but I had to dig for change.

That's cause its sent as a package first class not as a letter first class. Even though it is not past the requirement for letter thickness and my scale tells me as first class letter mail its only 44 cents in postage. I'm going to start to take them back to the old town I lived in before. I just cant believe that some post office's follow different rules than others.

So I have started a case with usps for being over charged for shipping. We will see what they say.

Well by the rule sheet the post office gave me the slot blockers are considered a envelope. Very rudely I was handed a rule sheet and told to educate myself. I measured everything and it fits the requirements. Another complaint to the hot line lets say if I can get some results.

they might have not called it an envelope because it had some rigidness to it (if it cant be bent, or has lumps it has to use a more expensive machine to move around the PO)

I know its only a 20 cent extra charge for that. I can go 30 minutes away and get them shipped at 80 cents or put them in my mail box for $2.00? This is my complaint is that my post office is to lazy to check them through a slot checker. They have horrible attitude's and act like they are paying you. I will just have to start going weekly instead of daily. To save the extra $1.27 its worth it.

I had to go through hell but I got the post office near me in trouble for not doing the right thing. I also was lied to by one of the workers that said she was the post master and wasn't. So now its all settled and I'm sorry for the mess up I didn't want to believe that the us post office rules changed from branch to branch. The biggest problem is keeping up with all the rules and the town I was in before had a great post master that kept up with the updates.
