k guys i finally was caught up enough to get some time in on it.

new sled was roughed out
i would like your guys imput, pics are on SSCfb

its rough....
i would like it to be half as thick as it is.....
somewhere between .125-.175"
the feet would be like a .300" diameter for a 10-32 arm (.180)

might need to see that half as thick one because thats currently looking pretty big and bulky

I don't have a dog in this fight anymore but I'm not feeling it. It looks to much like a horseshoe that doesn't belong on the gun. Perhaps something that was angled backwards and a little more swoopy. Kind of like the eye covers but but angled backwards.

I would imagine that it would be a little more involved to make but I think it would look much better.

So....finally got some time do redesign the sled to make it easier for super_stanchy to make. Profile is reminiscent of the eye covers, but simple enough to keep costs down.
let me know what you all think.

10-32 Threaded rod, 8-32 threaded screw hole in rear, like the prototype, simple but functional.
