The ribs are the baffles, just wrap it in camo tape or something.

The surface is semi permeable. Deliberately. Adding stuff would affect the function. Maybe better or worse.

For the record, putting a can or a sleeve around the typhoon makes it louder by a little bit. ( I wanted more of a tactical look.) Wrapping it with felt or light foam seems to quiet things just a little more. Nobody believes the Inception is porous at first, but if you wrap your hand around it while shooting, you can feel the air escape. When cleaning mine, I plugged the tip with my finger, submerged it in water and blew air down the barrel. It bubbled lil micro bubbles like an aquarium airstone.

can anyone give me an idea of how one of these works on a TPX?

No. ;-)

There's only one example of a lapco threaded typhoon in the wild. I don't think it ended up on a tpx.
