I would love to see some one make a similar product that has spiraled baffling similar to the same angle as spiral porting, a rifled rain cover so to speak.

Ok preliminary test went fairly well. No sure what other rain cover have done before.

Using my phantom vcs
Using my iPhone db meter ( not sure how accurate)
Basically indoor test cause it's raining.
-20 db was the best rating I got.
Average -15
Because I was indoors and meter was in the doorway I would think full outdoor test would be better.
I did notice that seemed like I got better efficiency and more usable shots. Shot until the valve vented completely. Usually I get some real low speed shots at the end of a 12.

Have you thought about making it longer than 6 inches? A freak back is 5 inches or so? So you could make the raincover 9 inches long to give the barrel a 14 inch length. It may quiet it down even more.

I down for just about anything. Just didn't want to make it to big. But if you want a 9" I will make it for you

Anybody ready to get this rolling? Would like to get some stock ordered and get a jump start.

I'd be down once I see a working prototype. I'd probably want one longer than 6 inches though.
