Before I sent the end caps back to TJD I did shoot it a little. With the cover on all the way I didn't notice any increase or decrease in sound. It basically just made my marker look badass.

However, I did try to pull the cover forward about an inch to see what would happen. So basically the end of the barrel was inside the open part of the cover. That made a noticeable difference in the sound. The marker was much quieter and didn't lose any accuracy. I think the change was because gas from the end of the barrel going into the inside of the cover instead of out of the front of it.

I didn't have my chrono with me so I don't know using it like that effected the velocity. As I said previously I wanted this for the look. I plan on using it fully on the barrel.

Guide ring.

These look great. BLachance mentions the absorption rate was better when the cover was hanging off the end of the barrel. Would you be able to make a 3rd aluminum guide ring for the interior to help stabilize the cover? Or maybe sell me an additional cap I could cut the flange off of myself?

I'm +1 on this, I just need to shuffle some funds around to my paypal.

They are actually Nylon for better impact resistance. I figured since these would be on the front of the barrel it might get whacked around a bit so I went for the more impact resistance.
