step 1: assemble them so they don't leak. Its really easy to assemble them so that the DO leak. thats where the skill comes in lol.

The new valve caps seem to be working out well. A little bit of hair pulling at the beginnning until I figured out a good method of assembling them. They can be rebuilt pretty easily, and generally if they leak at first they just need to have the face seal reset. They also appear to be able to use a buna face seal in a pinch. I don't figure that will last very long though. The expansion factor on buna is really high and it will tend to expand out of the groove when degassed.
