Find something to secure that spring cap. I just had mine shoot off and I still can't find it. It's in my room somewhere...lol

I have some nice brittle paint....that blew up wonderfully during testing, haha. I'm having a good time messing with this :P

oops I thought I had caught all those. the tubing came in with a larger ID than expected and the end caps were already made and anodized. I would send you a reaplacement cap but I don't have any that are larger ( I used every one). Sorry about that. put some red loctite or epoxy on it and stick it back in there.

yeah, not very gentle with brittle paint lol.

Make sure you cock the hammer fully each time. you might be under indexing.

Will do, I had a feeling it would happen and was going to put something on to keep it in place. Excitment got me and I ended up shooting around with it first

I took the danger route and removed the barrel with it cocked (and aired up. Don't do this kids...), it's indexing properly.

I can drop the paint from my waist to the floor and it breaks. I don't think the DRV plays nice with that kind of stuff. I was able to easily remove the valve and all and get it cleaned out. It got everyehere in there. Tilted back at one point and it gooped it's way into there.

I'm enjoying the shots I could get off though. I have a nice little bull barrel and it makes a sweet pap! sound when I shoot.

Months of drilling into my head to cock the hammer before airing up, still forgot to do it on my first game. That two piece valve made it a cinch to fix up once I got back home, I can easily do that at a table at the park next time I do that.

Donut, what is that spring cap you mentioned? I didn't see it on the parts list so I'm not sure what it was that shot off.

It's just a plug on the front of the tube with a hole in it. Also, I found it lol, in the box my drv came in. Shot around the room and landed in there. Couldn't have done that if I tried.

I have over a hundred rounds through her and it is good to go. The only thing I found was that it would under-index if the trigger pull was set too light and over-index when too heavy. The sweet-spot is perfect, however. A real hair-trigger.

Thanks again, Dukie.

Hey Dukie, was having some indexing issues this weekend in outdoor sub 0 temp. Could the temp have been the culprit, or should I be looking elsewhere?

first thing to look at is how you stroke the hammer. If you only pull it until it latches the hammer you are probably not getting a full index. This happens most often when you get excited lol. Take your time and think about what you are doing for the first little while. You will get a feel for it. I can tell as soon as I have done it as it just feels wrong.

take your cylinder detent out and clean it and the pocket. if you feel its needed add a small amount of wd40 and work it a bit with your finger. It may have a little dirt or oil in it. thick oil in low temperatures ( or even paint) could make it sticky.

check you pall spring.
