Assuming he just taps it by hand, it should be easy if he had a spyder barrel tap.

All of the cutting done to this adapter was done on the CNC. I can ask about the spyder tap, but for now, it is offered in cocker threads only. I know he has an A5 tap so I do believe that can be done.

I think the issue w/ inserts would be them staying put. Depending on the bore the may slide back into the breach.
