Due to much interest shown in another thread and multiple PM's, I am going to start a preorder for a Noxx55 Loudner. I don't have pictures yet because I have only priced out material thus far. I will attempt a prototype in the next couple of weeks. The more people on the list, the cheaper these will be. Prepayment will be required to fund this project and I have already came through on a preorder for my twistlock adapters in case anyone is worried about that. 6 weeks will be the approximate wait time for these and I will make sure they are ready for Spring Castle Conquest. I am not entirely sure on dimensions. I am going to test 2-3 different loudners in the next 2 weeks to get an idea on what diameter works the best for the loudest sound. I will also let the first 5 paid people from the preorder list test the prototypes so I can get some outside feedback on noise production. These will be made to fit whatever barrel you want. I will have everyone that preorders measure the OD of there barrel so I can get the fit for each person as close as possible. After the preorder (if it's a success), I will take orders for these in runs of 30-40 people to keep the costs down. I will need at least 30 preorders for this first run so get the word out. I will take a max of 100 for the first run. After that, remaining people will be put on the next list. You are responsible for getting an accurate measurement of your barrel OD. I suggest borrowing calipers from a friend if you don't have a set. That works the best. They will secure with a single set screw (provided) and will be annodized black.

Just a question... Could you get in any legal trouble over this? I'm sure Opsgear has plenty of patents.

if Opsgear wants to put up a fuss, all you have to do is point to air America's prior art.

that, and the fact that it's not like he's gonna be driving them out of business with this.

I know, there's not a really high chance. I might be down for one in the future, btw.

And while he won't be driving them out of business, if 10 people buy this, that's $400 for opsgear, $350 of which would have probably been profit(assuming it's cast aluminum).
