| Paintball Maniac! Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, CA | Next batch of work done! These 2 stocks were done for Stuffy: an F-stock and a KP3 stock. I'm still having trouble getting authentic photos of my work. I only have a small point-and-shoot camera and terrible lighting in my apartment. I'll get the hang of it someday! I think the stocks are a bit darker in person, these photos always make the finish look more hollow than it is. Pic 01 is a pretty good representation of the "Red Mahogany" finish I gave to the F-stock. The KP3 is done in "Special Walnut." As always, click on the thumbnails for larger photos!

| Paintball Maniac! Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, CA | Most folks don't know the story on this one: goonies_boy sent me a KP for refinish, and upon the initial stain of "black cherry," the wood reacted strangely. It ended up very splotchy and 'yucky.' After conferring with the owner, I re-stripped it and used a lighter stain ("special walnut"), due to the lighter wood. I also re-blued the trigger guard and trigger which were scarred with rust and surface pits. In my mind, this is one of the most beautiful stocks I've ever had the honor of re-doing for a customer. The result is stunning, feast your eyes: Check out the new signature too! As I get going on the website, I'll be updating the pics and look of things. Maybe someday I'll actually be able to afford a good camera and set up an actual "photography studio..."
