Geeze. I can't belive Dave, letting a little thing like a protruding hernia get in the way of finishing. I mean, doesn't he know that rotating power tools are SAFER to use when you're hopped up on Vicodin?

I have had two double hernia fixed in my life.
One when I was 6 and the other when I was 26.
The last time they put the mesh in and I have not had any problems since."Knock on wood"
The second time they did the left side let it heal and then did the right side.
That sucked.
Next time I will let darwins theory take place and they can get squashed.
Only good thing was they discovered a growth was what had caused the right side hernia. It was bigger then a softball.
I woke up during the surgery and the doc said wanna see what caused it, and bounced it up and down in his hand. I went back to la la land.

Nothing quite like seeing the doctor playing whiffle ball with your internals while you're still on the table.
