Quasi H8TR thread

I have been mulling this over for a while and would like some input from you guys and gals

I have been debating whether on not to buy a wheel stamp for numbering the H8TR's. The receivers will be stamped with a serial number but what about the barrel mount, barrel adaptor and adaptor body? If I stamped them all with the same number, then there would be a complete match. Would this increase the resale value because you would be selling a matching number H8TR.

I think the people purchasing your first run would greatly appreciate being able to confirm their claims with proof far into the future, so i say hell yeah, stamp away!
Just make sure that where you decide to stamp the pieces doesn't take away from the overall beauty...

I was thinking of like on the sks. no more taking off barrels to see the serial number. Its right there plan as day.

My SKS has a bayonet. Can I get one for my H8TR as well?

I'm not too concerned about the stamping.

I have to number the receivers anyway and it isn't much to stamp the other parts. One wack of the hammer and it is stamped

I didn't order a H8TR, but as a collector of fine paintball guns, I think its a wonderful idea. One more step toward making markers as worthy a collectible as firearms.

Thinking on a similar line, that will also help with total recovery if one were to get stolen at any point.

Yeah, I may have to do these by hand. Just got a quote for the stamper and it was like $1500. I think they are smok'n crack. I have a couple of tool catalogs where I can get them for under 500.
