ECAP Wise Brass'es.. Totaly Brass nelsons.

Okay.... before you get all hopped up on your brass fixes this is a hypothetical post.

I did the material needed sheet list to make 5... that the only amount I crunched the numbers for. So if I was to make them it would be the only way Id make them 5 at a time.

The guns would be entirely brass... With the exception of the valve body for the first run.. Im not to savy on making them from scratch but I have a large box of NIB Taso spartan ASA's Im going to use.. so they would be back bottle more or less.. But every thing else would be brass.. the pump main body assembly and feed tubes.. Even the grip frame will be a custom cut 45 frame with a swing trigger.. basically the same lines as the one on the ECAP peregine. They will be shipped finished but raw.. no plating or coating to protected the brass with a matte finish.

With that being said......

Here is the run down on the guns..

They would have the following specs.

- Unibody brass 1 inch OD .689/690 bore.. give or take after honeing.
- Brass body rail
- Brass grip frame
- Brass trigger
- Brass feed
- Brass pump
- Brass feed tube... it will be removable like on the Box guns but it will be round not square stock
- Taso back bottle ASA
- Packmyer 45 rubber grips.... Dont like them? Tought.. they have brass inlay
- Complete set of new phantom guts..
- All screws will be alloy no SS type screws so they will be blackish

Price will be $850 each Of which $550 is just strait up raw materials and parts

Now..... I cant make them just yet as I dont have my new lathe yet but once I do I can make them rather quickly.. So you cant buy them yet.. and as a nice one so to avoid "Punisher Syndrome" You will only have to pay for the raw metal materials up front.. which is $400. the rest of is payable upon notic of completion of your body and stuff.. Which at what point I will order up the internals and valve componets and Ill tune it and ship it out.

EDIT - I screwed up on math..... price has changed alot.... brass = expensive!

Can you price brass bodies: lower tube only, cocker threaded and one that will take freak inserts directly ? then add options to that like direct feed or stock class.

It changed a bit here and there since that picture.. corners got rounded and the frame got a little thinner..

Brass bodies wise... No go... just for this project, its not something Id be looking to do normally..
