Machining Services

Hello all,
My name is Dave and after a bit of lurking about ive decided to throw my hat into the ring of Machinists here on MCB. i can do a wide variety of Mill and Lathe work as well as Laser engraving (CNC comming soon...). I do not have set prices for special projects but i will work with you in the design process and we can go from there. on a little side note, I am by no means an airsmith i am good at milling and turning but in terms of taking your idea and bringning it to reality... may take some time the more detailed plans you supply the better the chance you have of getting me to accept your project

As for set price services,

Auto Cocker Mods
HalfBlock--$45
MiniCut--$35
MidgetCut--$35
EgoFeedneck--$40
Phantom feed--$20

Laser Engraving
As promised here is my Laser engraving Batch one opertunity.

Hey:

I'm in the same boat with the gentleman above me. I have an Automag Valve I'd like some Laser Engraving done too, with about 3 different sizes and fonts for the Laser Engraving.

I'd want a Cursive Writing done and some standard font in varying sizes--if you are able to.

Let us know.

Thanks,

-ClassicMagger

I'm curious at how deep the engraving goes. I've got a project in my head that could use some engraving on it. Can you "freehand" engraving if needed to?

ok think of it as etching. If the work is annodized the laser will burn through the anno if not you get a lighter image. I cannot engrave on mirror surfaces either. As far as hand engraving goes I would laser the image or text then go over it with an engraving tool (dremmel esqeu thing).

Now if you want materials like wood engraved the process goes much deeper

So is there any particular format you prefer laser images to be in?

Can you do laser engraving on brass? I have a P68 with the original finish that I might want this done to.
