IIRC in the case of Aussie guy with a SPAS-12 vs Velociraptor, the Velociraptors won.

But he still chose the Spas12 indicating that it is capable of taking down a Raptor.

I said these were good for zombies, I make no guarantees against velociraptors. Unless you plan on bludgeoning them to death

Started on trigger blocks today - blocked up on the two sides so taht I have a good reference:

Taking away the back left by the CNC. I'm taking most of it off with a rougher so that I can finish it off in a vertical position. OH yeah and lots more deburing . Ordered a deburing wheel for the bench grinder today. A manual deburing tool leaves a lot of razor sharp corners. These wheels area sort of rubberized felt and do a perfect job of lightly rounding off corners on parts.

Spent the rest of the day messing around with our brand new compressor that doesn't work. Damn thing is supposed to draw 20 amps ( and does when running) but won't come off the start winding and draws 100 amps until it throws the breaker. My electrician picked up a new motor for it this afternoon and that sorted it out.

Late this afternoon I got a customer call and had to go do a service call. What fun !

Milled off the remainder of the back side of the blanks today:

Look like triggers now

Milled in a slot in the trigger guard to install a trigger stop if needed. If it wasn't done now, it would be a royal pain later.

Drilled and recessed the sear pin holes, and started on the trigger pins.

The old compressor that I was using ( and that was starting to die.....)

The new compressor that now works properly.

Finished the trigger holes, drilled and counterbored the mounting holes, drilled the spring pockets for the sears.

I also bolted one up to check the fit:

Screw both of those. Everyone knows that if the auto-assualt 12 can drop zombies, be dual wielded, and be shot one handed in full auto like a pistol it is by far the best choice in killing raptors.
