| Interesting… why not just go right to Eastwood? This site seems to just be an affiliate site anyways with all sales going directly to Eastwood and giving the site owners credit for the sale.

| Absolutely you can powdercoat at home. But it's not something you can take out of the box and use it once kinda thing. It takes a bit of investment, in time and money, and in space dedicated to work in. I'm a finisher/chemist by trade, and electrostatic spraying is not difficult for someone who knows and understands what they're doing. Really, it's no more dangerous than filling a gas tank, but you are dealing with electrically charged equipment that needs to be properly grounded, using powders that can be explosive under certain conditions. Anyone who wants to try it should do a little research first to know the principles involved, at least enough to know the definition of an anode.

| well, ideally you should be able to take it to a finishing shop and talk politely with the fellow in charge. in my experience, if they have never done something like that they will ask questions and maybe get you to help with the setup (what holes have to be plugged and all that)
