As a new 3357 owner, this thread has been awesome. Thanks for the fantastic information in this thread. In particular, thanks for the dimensions of the gasket required for the cylinder.
For whatever reason, Rock Auto wants over $30 to ship $9 worth of parts to Ontario. I've discovered that my local rubber gasket company can produce them on demand. They gave me the first as a free sample but offered to manufacture more of them pretty cheap.

As long as it's a square edged flat gasket and not a rounded edged gasket or o-ring.
Tip for getting the old gooey gasket out, put the cylinder in the freezer overnight, the hardened frozen rubber pops out in pieces easier, then clean up final pieces with isopropyl alcohol.
