How-to: DIY Sheridan Valve Tool
 
Short guide on making a Sheridan valve tool. Normally I'd just turn a bit of steel then mill some faces on the end, but I figured I'd demo one with really basic tools.

Thread size
 
What size thread do I need to tap to pull the valve. Looks like 1/4 is too small and 5/16 too big

Great idea using the hex bit holder. I've made them out of random things in the past (such as sticks of rebar) but this is a lot easier. Thanks!
