anyone have specs for how to machine bolts and sleds? i use non CNC stuff, so round profiles are hard to do.

Don't just buy one than. It more trouble than what its worth if tour machining is off it won't slide right. On a side note you can use icd bolts and 05/06 ego bolts the ego bolts have to be made smaller though I do it on a lathe

I make kits but I was just going to do it on a bridgeport once instead of the cnc just to see if I could.

could a bolt be made rather easily? they seem pretty simple, barstock delrin with some holes drilled in it. also been looking at other materials to possibly machine bolts from, or making more venturi bolts.

i would like to try my hand at CNC but need all the experience i can get on whatever there is.

Best thing to use is delrin. They're not hard to machine up pretty easy actually I do make my own but I've been pressed for time as of late and ran out of bolts and am using ego bolts at the moment.

Venturi face is hard to perfect also. Large holes is key.

You have to have something tested and reliable to make them. And without a cnc the time you'll have in em will make it not worth it. Just saying. Here's my custom kit I call it an X sled. Dual pump arm capable.
