Scratch repair

Any suggestions on what to do with this scratch? The manufacturer says it should not be reannoed ( I wouldn't any way). What else I'll problably leave it or hit it with the green sharpie.
What would you do?

Thanks
Tug

All manufacturers say not to re-ano. I, and most other anodizers, anodize several Egos per week. As long as an experienced anodizer does it, it will be fine. If you want to be extra careful, have the internal tubes masked.

That looks more like a gouge than a scratch to me.

I'd suggest you use a highly polished hardened piece of steel rod to sort of squish the raised edges back down into the trough. Then a green sharpy or some model car paint blended to match as well as practical and call it good. Nothing other than stripping the ano and machiningg or sanding out the gouge and then re-ano will remove that.

It's just part of the patina of a paintball gun, right?
