PGP/Nelspot pistol battle swab.

OKay, a simple tutorial this time...a small battle swab perfect for a short barreled pistol.

1- Get yourself a couple of 12 gauge shotgun cleaning swabs, about $2 at your local version of S-Mart...

2- Go to your local car parts store and get some 1/4" fuel line, about 50 cents a foot...

3- Cut the fuel line to size, screw the swabs into the ends, and there ya' have it, a battle swab just the right size that's better quality than just about any battle swab you can find...

I've never worn one out.

Figure the fuel line in a car, outside all the time, full of gasoline, lasts at least 10 years and often 20 or more.

I've had swabs on the end of possum tail squeegees that are at least 10 years old and are still pretty useful.

I like to use these on the end of cut down straight shots.
