Thats what it looks like to me. A little awkward with the trigger placement.

However, the wood goes well with the DSG's finish

I was thinking the exact same thing with trigger placement. Hogue grips just look so much more comfortable, but the wood looks 10x better.

I've tried Pk5's thumb hole stock and it moves your hand way back on the gun, but it actually worked very well for me. It put just the pad of my finger on the trigger instead of going all they way to the knuckle.
This looks great! Love all the work that has gone into it.

Any chance you'd want to make another set of that?

Meh... after I already destroyed one OG pump handle making mine I'd be really apprehensive about attempting it on someone elses... That and the fact that I do most of this stuff at work I try not to take too much advantage of that freedom, you know?

Tried out Russc's mod for the trigger:

Definitely goes a long way to making the pirate grip more comfortable. I removed the tang and then some on the back of the trigger, then polished/re-rounded it, and also rounded and polished the tang on the back of the sear that it rubs against to ensure super-smooth trigger operation. Then I needed to install a longer set screw to replace the original trigger stop and adjusted it about half a turn away from being an absolute "breathe on it and it will fire" trigger pull. Also cut 1 coil off of the sear spring to lighten the trigger pull, which seems to have worked.

While I was in there I had an idea to round off/polish the chamfered edge on the back of the hammer to help smooth the pump stroke a little more, but I was running out of time so I canned it for the day. Might try it at a later date.
