actually... an aluminum Lever action block/trigger that bolts up to sheridans and has a built in RVA

And then in the back it would take regular Winchester stocks and in the front took a forearm, maybe even a standard shotgun pump handle(easily wooden, affordable, and might fit the valve tube).

"There are already tons of lever sheridans, a body kit for them would be simpler."

Maybe I just read what I wanted to. (Sorry)
I think a aluminum clamshell with trigger group that would accept model 94 rear stocks would be awesome. Hell I even have a rough tinkerers drawing I could send you to take a look at Dukie.

I'm assuming you mean Winchester rifle stock.

Yeah, I guess the only reason would be if you wanted to make straight back loops like the Winchester, but if you used pretty much any other rear stock it would require a curved back on the lever loop.

I was just planning on using a model 94 because that's what I have and am familliar with. I can't find my drawings right now, but I had my rifle taken apart and traced out the stock and lever loop for the pictures.
The straight loop is kinda nice if you plan on using a scabbard of any sort. I just find that they fit better.

Gotta make the lever anyways, doesn't really matter. mossberg is much easier than that big old fork on the winchester rifles. Hell you can take a lump of wood and jsut carve the mossberg mount if you want a different style. its a round spot with a hole in it.

Those tracing sould be helpful for future reference if you care to share them. Prefereably witha ruler or similar on top for scale.

Well, I did find them. They are drawn on acetate with permanant markers so I could roughly check the actuation. Unfortunately I can't post ictures anymore from my phone (when did photobucket go to hell?) So I can try to post them tomorrow.
I could also take off the stock of the rifle and take a couple of pictures of how the stock mounts. Iirc it is very simple, with a single vertical screw to hold it in place.

Another idea, how about a goblin pistol that uses a firing pin? While it would be best to test beforehand, it makes sense to believe that a consistent and faster valve opening would result in a more consistent and faster shot.
