It's a nifty little lever mechanism that's a pain in the *** to clean and reassemble. I feel really sorry for the people who have to actually build the magazines in the Tippmann factory.
OK, I remember both of those now. I remember taking one of them apart once. I vowed to buy new ones before I ever attempted that little pice of frustration again lol.

If I keep going I will probably grab a set of mags when some come in.

Thanks!

Those numbers give a notch that looks deeper than shown, but it will do in a pinch.

If FS is the reason what about the tiberius mags? you could take off the Co2 part so it would be smaller and maybe it would fit along with the trigger. just a thought.

Me too, but one would need to carry an infant on the field to pull the trigger. Somewhat impractical

On another note, just messing with the first strikes in a loose phantom breech they seem to feed and chamber really well. the only problem I see so far is getting the second round clear of the bolt on the forard stroke. I think I can sort that with a smooth channel on the side of the bolt behind the oring. I'll know for suremore when I fiddle some more.

All the requests were for TPX mags.

the tib mags are quite expensive compared to the tpx mags too.

From the looks of it you can remove the check valve from the 8/9 mags, but not on the 8.1/9.1. At least thats what it looks like in the pics. I doubt many people would like to hack up their mags to do this ( i could be wrong lol) or if using the older mags not having the ability for first strike.

Even the one you posted needs a custom body, so really the only difference is the bolt length isn't it? All the other internals are stock.

its a phantom body with a FS feed port in it. I can already get phantom bodies without a feed port. I have one at the shop . A phantom body costs 20, a bolt is going to cost me 30 unfinished and I supply the material..... I don't want to think about the cost of making a body lol. IE these are things I cannot easily make in house.

I just assumed plugging original feed hole, making new cocking slots, adding new FS feed hole and then a custom magwell would be more work then a new body.

Also might not have the meat on a stock body to have more than one mounting hole for the magwell.
