scrounge up some micro line and fittings! Much better than macro for CO2

Yep, microline is perfect for this, and it's what I used in my build. They are easily rebuildable if you get leaks - just pop the collar off and throw a new oring in.

You will want to preserve easy access to the fittings, so that you can maintain them and disconnect them for working on the gun.

It takes the same space as hardline, but is bendable and so can get through corners and holes in your construction easily.

Microline? Like this stuff?

Ravi's Paintball Place

Or are we using the same nomenclature for two different things?

Yes, that's the stuff. It's not as common these days. Sometimes a good way to buy it is in the form of an old coil remote.

Thanks for the suggestion fellas, picked up a pile of microline, remotes, and fittings off of Ebay for a song and will be working on the plumbing soon.

In the meantime, here's what I've been working on:

Brass Stock Endplate

Making chips:

Still need to cut the new barrel clamp so that it can actually clamp, and then everything will need to be polished the rest of the way, but it's shaping up nicely so far. Next up is the 1/4-28 to 1/8" NPT adapter for the air line, and cutting down/milling the underside of the brass rod that's going to slip in where the 12g sat and cover the plumbing.

Still looking for someone that does engraving/scroll work, preferably local to the NY/NJ/PA area, as I'd like to dress these brass pieces up a bit instead of just leaving them plain and polished.

SO....

EFFING....

CLOSE.......

The barrel clamp is done, external velocity adjuster installed (and shimmed so the worm gear will stop retreating into the body when I'm trying to put the key on it), lines are plumbed, cover is milled.... And both 4oz's are empty so I can't test any of it, which is the last thing I need to do before I clean up, sand, and finish the stock and put this project to rest. The cover's not totally complete, still needs to be sanded and polished, but it's roughed out and milled on the underside and everything fits together! Hopefully I'll be able to grab some CO2 on Sunday and test it out so that come Monday night at work I can put the first coat of stain on the stock. No more pics until she's done!

An hpa bottle would be nice just for the fact that you can refill it without taking it off the gun.

The brass looks nice PR!
What about adding a front sight to the barrel clamp?

I WANTED to do a 13/3K!!! In fact, the whole idea revolved around that from the beginning. Unfortunately, to fit a 13/3K, ASA, and plumbing, you'd need a stock about an inch to two inches longer than factory Mossberg/Remington, and as it was I wanted to take an inch off of the one I had because it was too long. I think in the end I wound up taking half an inch off and my plumbing is still very close to the front of the pistol grip section.

As for sights... I thought about it but meh... Going for more of an Old West look so I'm keeping bells and whistles to a minimum. I may go back and add a Sheridan-style pin sight or maybe even a tru-glo AR pin sight to the clamp and then mount a ghost ring in front of the CO2 changer pocket, but for now this is how she's going to stay...
