Cool Dsp v2

I decided to do a little revamping on the DSP slide

Its not done yet, Mostly I haven't messed around too much with the prettifying. I did a little as you can see, but what I have put in is not a guaranteed.

Let me know what you think, and wether I should proceed to a finished product.

I simplified the construction so that I do not need to do nearly as much milling and boring. That and less pretty features should significantly lower the cost of the slide.

The slide moves, and the feed stays still. Its not truly a one piece, as it is much simpler to make the ball ramp from a seperate piece. I'm not even sure if I will stick with the feed tube and feedgate just yet. maybe cram and jam. I'll see how it works out.
  • ALUMINUM !!!!!!
  • Compatible wth standard phantom body/barrel/internals
  • Compatible with a standard phantom feed
  • Compatible with phantom frames
  • Compatible with DSP frames
  • Compatible with return spring
  • Newly compatible with Haveblue's autococker threaded body ( name?)
  • Newly comatible with pretty much any autococker barrel ( 1" or less standard)
  • VSC capable ( must be ordered up front)
  • Center feed standard.
  • black or raw only, I use an industrial anodizer. I will happily group ship to Tonsixers for you.
  • configurable!!!!

VSC config:

Slide only with DSP frame

Slide and undergrip w/ DSP frame

Full DSP

The slide moves, and the feed stays still. Its not truly a one piece, as it is much simpler to make the ball ramp from a seperate piece. I'm not even sure if I will stick with the feed tube and feedgate just yet. maybe cram and jam. I'll see how it works out.

EDIT new pic

Edit new new pic w/ compensator idea and ball slots

EDIT new pic with cram and jam and upper gills

EDIT Tactisilly kit, which seems to be growing on some people lol

**Bits and pieces of the standard phantom model stolen from Siress**

I like the last option. Will you be making any modification to the frame too?

Also digging the last one. Dukie, any chance you have a draft for right or left stock class feed options with the full dsp setup? For those of us that can't afford ducks...

I think this looks much better than your v1. Nice work. I like the last option the best, with a cram and jam it would look even better, or you could just put a recess inside the feedtube for a CCI feed gate and keep it sleek. I have made feeds that take the CCI feed gates and they work nicely.

Either i wasnt clear enough, or you guys get too many choices! those arent different design options.

Those are all the same with modular components!

If you just want a slide, just buy a slide. if you like the undergrip, buy that too. if you just want a feed, sure ( that would look a bit odd on top of a phantom with the slide clearances though)

Im trying to keep it as simple as possible, by making it modular. buy the bits you want and assemble how you like it.

I was really looking for opinions on looks lol.

how hard would it be to make a clicking mechanism for the 12g bucket? maybe even a button where a real pistol mag release would be and even switch its sides at the workbench?

when i tried the frame it was the most glorious frame ever, but having to mind the changer coming loose is a pretty bad setback.
