DSG leak, please help.

I have a team mate that asked to borrow my DSG next weekend for a game that he is commanding. I aired it up this morning and the is a massive leak from where the front piece of the marker meets up with the body. I'll tear into it when I get home from work today, but I have never had a problem like this before.

Any ideas?

front plug orings likely, or the screw for the front plug is loose. that might do it.

What size might those o rings be, Mr. Dukie? I have a well stocked Ace hardware just up the road and the paintball store isn't too much further away. I'm trying to get the old DSG up and running so Huggybear13 can rock it while he commands the german war machine at next weekends Band of Brothers game out here.

This is the 1st time my old reliable DSG has failed to go bang for me.

If it is the oring be careful putting that plug back in. You can shear that oring right off if you're not careful. You'll see what I mean.

use oil in the body. Thats what I do and I never seem to have an issue.

Also when you replace your orings make sure you spin them around the plug to un wrinkle them. They tend to twist and bunch when you roll then on. holding the orings and turniung the plug will generally smooth them back out. <----- major cause of sheared orings.

That's exactly how I got around pinching the prints. I oiled them and spun the plug as I pushed it in. I was just giving a heads up.
