I don't understand your engineering voodoo, but if you're saying that it's possible to make a part that drops the tank a few inches vertically from a back-bottle asa without adding a lot of length then I'd be down with that.

I don't have a Hammer, but I've been wanting that particular do-hicky for every other BBA gun for a couple of years now.

Would using something like an allen screw to tighten the whole thing like PPS does with their 90 degree offset be enought to keep it from coming unscrewed when shouldered?

You can't other than by tightening it into the asa. It would also need spacers or something to line it up using that method.

It would have to be the other method:

the straight back bottle dissapears and becomes a valve body with a machine thread in the back for a screw. The stock nut could be replaced with a female asa. Or possibly a female asa with a stock nut..... which would be a little pointless.

pretty much what I was doing up there except it ends up being an offset leg instead of a 90.

Its going to add length no matter what. Probably 2"+. ~1/2" for the male asa, ~1/2" for the offset plate, ~1-1/4" for a male asa.

Yeah I see what you are saying... But I really wanted to put this on a Milsig.

I would love to see someone make such an adapter that would make these air in stock magfed guns more usable!

Sc feed Fits frontyways and backways. Accepts standard phanton feed tubes and caps.

A proper grip looks a ton better in my opinion. even though thats a milsig grip which doesnt follow the standard and actually doesnt fit lol. My adapter DOES follow the standard. The install went pretty smooth. I took descriptive pictures. It wont come off ever again lol.
