It looks to have been made between the time aardvark made the tequila matrix and the tequila sunrise matrix. It could be an early run tequila sunrise (maybe even a prototype tequila sunrise). I guess this because it has the sun with the waves next to the rear window, however everything else screams tequila matrix: -the four gills on the side -the windows are larger, something that aardvark changed in later models because there was too much strain on the lexan windows -also it says "tequila" on the side not "tequila sunrise" -it also has a silver bolt, which predated the aardvark red bolt (nothing really special-just different in color) Besides that everything looks original except for the feedneck, vertical air adapter, trinity lpr adjustment knob, and the FBM delrin trigger. The original breech has also been milled for the gen-e style eyes and the sidewinder is a nice addition. The board is unknown, but I would guess tadao, seeing that LCD boards dont fit in the aardvark frames, and what would be the point of drilling it for eyes and using a gun20 chip. Simply taking a look in the frame would clear this up. it isn't worth $888 in my honest opinion. Although the right buyer may be willing to pay that amount. I am more of a sucker for an entity matrix. Don't get me wrong, I would be glad to own it. Hope this helps. Also make sure the lexan window is still in good condition, as alkafluence so aptly pointed out. good luck |

Yes, there is a Tadao M5 inside. It comes with original Trigger and Feed. And its got a second spare Lexan Tube, both have small cracks, but they do not leak. I've bought some Polycarbonat/Lexan, to build new Spacers. Quote:

That's definitely a Sunrise, not a Tequila. Really, it just means it's 1 of ~50 instead of 1 of 17 (or 30, depending on who at Aardvark you ask). It does look to be in fine condition. As far as pricing, that does seem to be on the higher end of the spectrum for Sunrises. Mind you, it's got some nice goodies on it, including the matching Snout barrel and a milled Aardvark breech. I generally see Sunrises floating around anywhere from $600-$750, but there's really no Almanac for these sorts of things. Anyway, depending on condition of the body, I would rate that one as being on the higher end of the scale.
