The Real (Unnofficial) Rotor Manual

1. Tension Adjustment
The Rotor gets put down for have jamming problems.
If your Rotor jams use the following steps:
If that didn't fix it disassemble again and remove the gearbox.
Don't lose your button!
Back out the larger of the two allen screws until it is flush, like so.
Backing out lowers the spring tension and reduces the force needed from the ball stack, screwing in does the opposite.
Clean, Test, and Reassemble
2. The Light
Maybe you don't like it or maybe it's a night game.
Get your gearbox and a small Phillip's head screwdriver.
First Remove your batteries.
Next unscrew the battery clip screw and take out the battery clip connector.
Now unscrew the two gearbox screws.
Here is your jumper.
Slide it like so.

This is the sort of thing I like to save, but it probably will be a while before I get a rotor.
Was this going to "clean and reassemble"? It looks like you got interrupted.

Cool guide. Hopefully you can elaborate the tension adjustments, like which way increases/decreases, etc.

Screw in on the screw to increase the tension, screw out to lighten the tension...rightie tightie, lefty loosie...
I replaced stock spring on the Rotor for a lighter one. It feeds just as fast, but does not put as much force on the balls. Also, I rewired the circuit board to create a motor break. What this does is...when the micro-switch trips and turns off the motor, it stops instantly. Again, this keeps the rotor form pushing excessively on the paintballs.
