| Newbie Join Date: Jan 2011 | Where to get a DM5 solenoid cheaply?
I was chronoing a buddy's DM5 when the solenoid gave out and as it was in my hands long enough to feel responsible I'd like to replace it but am having a hard time finding a used, refurbished or inexpensive solenoid. Any suggestions?

SMC model vqz1151K-9g-x86 Same solenoid used in the original Matrix, the DM4, DM5, FEP Quest, and a few other guns. Avoid Air Soldier. That guy has a ridiculous markup. Sometimes you can buy 'noids used from people in misc sales. Are you 100% sure the solenoid is dead? No longer clicks even with fresh battery etc? |

Look up the manufacture's web site, either order directly from them or from a distributor. I purchased a spare noid for half what Dye charges. Plus you can purchase the manifold gasgets for like 20 for $5; or something cheap like that. Dye charges $20 for 1.
