Billy Wing bolt is polished. And red. The polish allows it to glide smoother, easier. The red allows it to, um, look cool? Polishing the stock bolt provides the exact same results. If you're thinking of getting a billy wing bolt for a PMR, there isn't one for the PMR. They're only for the DM's/PM's. Last edited by nerdcore; 08-29-2011 at 01:10 AM. |

Gotta be careful with the easy off step listed in that video. If you leave it in the solution too long, you'll eat away at the metal. Take pooty's advice in that thread and apply the easy off with a toothbrush every 2 minutes until satisfied, then rinse. (wear gloves) Or, see what he'd charge for a pro polishing (I believe it's only $30 or something. Way cheaper than a billy wing) |
