I have a PMR 07 that has worked flawless for me up to now. My problems started out with a leak thru the back of the gun...I replaced o rings and adjusted reg and that fixed the leak. After that, I turn on the marker (under air pressure) and all I get is a popping sound from the solenoid air, but no action from the bolt itself.
Does anybody know what to do...is my solenoid bad?

When is the last time you replaced the battery?

Yep...2x...saw your comment...went by store and bought a new one just in case...lol...still just "burping"...little bit of air leaks from trigger when it cycles...otherwise, holds air fine.

May need to clean the solenoid. Not sure. How much lube is on the bolt o-rings? And what lube are you using?

I'm using planet eclipse o ring lube...I removed the solenoid and cleaned the contact area...I did not clean the solenoid itself....other than wipe down....I put back together...still same problem
I also reset the board too...its a virtue boatd

And the answer is....

replaced all the o-rings and marker shoots again....replaced them (a 2nd time) using colored o-rings like some sort of rich guy....or lamo...thanks foe the help

Whoops, meant to reply again but forgot all about the thread.

Yeah, Dye/Proto guns seem to be picky with o-rings. Only reason i finally "retired" from dye guns (or newer ones, anyway).
