0.687

As far as I can tell First strike vary slightly in size for the freak incerts I have 0.687 is the best I can do to match the first strike. I want a shorter barrel so I ordered a Lapco .687 today 10 inch total length will she how the DAM likes that compared to the deadly wind.

Yeah my fields paint bores out at 684 hopefully it would be only a 20 FPS difference. I guess 265 fps wouldn't be so bad for paintballs.

Think rps premium paint would be ok in the mags? Mag breaks gotta be horrible lol

The eyes clean ok. Not real well if your paint is thick so any break suck regardless of hopper or mag. But you can strip your mag an clean it with water real easy. From what another person said, the mag pushes the ball past the detent so when the bolt moves forward it hits the ball instead of pushing it so it breaks

with a .684 paintball and FS you wont see a 20 fps difference maybe 10 fps at most, especially when using a .687 barrel.

The mags are very easy to clean, takes less than 10 seconds, also the marker is very easy to clean as well. It takes less than 5 mins to clean the eye pipe and bolt tip off, this is one thing i love about this marker its very easy to take apart and clean.

Yes RPS premium paintballs should work fine in the mags, i used them back when i had the mag kit for the phenom.

No Regrets

What I will say it this. I usually buy my high ends second or third hand so I do not pay full price for them. I bought this one for full price and so far I have no regrets. I can not wait to play in a game with this marker but that looks like it will be the Viper triple threat game in Austin, Tx early feb.

if i run FS rounds in the mags and .684 paint in the hopper and there is only a 10-15FPS difference. its a done deal i will buy it and wont look back. ill mostly be using the hopper but at big events ill use FS rounds if they are available.

i just want the added functionality to go paintballs in the mags for magfed games only. im looking for that magic marker that will do it all and this is the closest ive seen.

Dont get me wrong i love my DM12 and after speaking with a Dye tech last weekend at an event i was just at, he said hopper fed it shoots just like a DM. and if thats truely the case im sold on it and will probably sell my DM and use the DAM for everything recball, events, magfed events etc etc.

ill be running it without the rear stock and tank direct on back for pretty much everything i think it looks bad *** without the buttstock..
