Ya I've read on pbn where people send them to dye they either hone or bore the breach out upgrade detents and change the bolt face to a newer style and change the bolt bumper. Just a side note when lubing your bolt and putting it back in make sure you push it all the way forward do that you don't get the intermittent shooting problem

I think the main design flaw of the SLG is that the sear spring had to be juuust the right strength for the whole design to work. Too weak and it can't properly restrain the bolt and the gun would go into runaway full-auto. Too strong and the 9v battery wouldn't have enough juice to make the solenoid push the sear to let go of the bolt reliably. This is why the E-Mag came with that big battery pack. I think the SLG would make a pretty nifty mechanical gun if someone were to put together a grip frame that would work.
