Why was the SLG discontinued?

I've had a couple and maintained them well - never had any issues. Good little shooters I thought. Anyways, been playing nothing but pump for a few years and am just getting back into shooting semis again and seeing what's out there.

Why were these discontinued?

Thx!

You might have been one of the really lucky ones. Mostly everyone I knew had bad luck or knew someone that had one and the name just became synonymous with problematic.

There are much better options out there in that price range both new and used.

They would randomly shoot uncontrollable full auto.

That happened to me once but it was my fault for getting a bit of grease on the sear - hadn't happened again after I cleaned it off.

Huh, I had no idea about the issues. But then again I always used fresh batteries and cleaned/lubed after every day if play.

I had one with no issues either, but it seems we were the lucky ones

never mind, I thought this was about the DMC

Didn't they tear apart their internal o-rings after each case?

I thought the SLG was a sear tripper of some description? Or am I going mad?

The early models did yeah. Black bolt bumpers shredder easy. They then came out with red ones that were better and ultimately a green one that can take a hell of a beating.

Yes, it was.
