Older PMR macro line

Hi,

Perhaps this is a silly question, but I just fixed the eyes on my older PMR (2007 or 2008) and now the macro line is leaking. Any reason I cant just swap out the fittings and put a steel braided hose instead? I tried google but just keep getting hits for the newer models.

You can switch it out. Dye's fittings kinda suck you could go with another brand as well.

I had lots of trouble keeping the straight dye fitting from leaking on my 07. I ended up just running steel braided, just like you are. It worked fine for me.
