| I always wondered what it was. I didn't think it stood for 50, BTW. I thought it was like century or something. I dunno why.

| Well the reason the slg is so small is that you don't have to worry about air channels or solenoids, just an armature to trip the sear which is positioned just like a spyder sear tripper. The SLG feels like a piece of junk in your hands. I seriously doubt that they'll be able to make the DM much smaller than it is right now due to having to run milled air channels etc. you need the metal there to build the thing out of. The only reason the Ego can go so small is that it operates as a knock-open poppet valve actuated by a ram. The ram can be very very small in circumference. A spooler can only get so small in diameter before it starts becoming counter productive. |
