rule of thumb.

10 shots per cubic inch at 3000psi
15 shots per cubic inch at 4500psi

since you didn't say anything about the gun, i.e. what parts it has(stock or aftermarket) and what setting you have the gun set up, there is no true way of telling you what to expect.

also, get the manual for the gun. it will tell you everything that you need to know. Dye/Proto have one of the better manuals in the market.

Ermm.. That rule of thumb doesn't work really well.
on a PM7 with a 68/45 you'll get around 1200-1300 shots. I think you can raise it by a bit by doing the tophat mod.

yeah, that may be true. each and every new model has increased the efficiency of the guns. but reread my post. "since you didn't say anything about the gun, i.e. what parts it has(stock or aftermarket) and what setting you have the gun set up, there is no true way of telling you what to expect." rule of thumb here is to cover the basis of what to expect, not actual use. his gun could be tuned for shooting the brittlest of paints, so he should expect to get 1200+ shots now can he?

Yeah, I know. However, with Matrixes most bolts don't make a large difference, and settings can change maybe 50-100 shots, 150 max. I guess it would also depend on an LP/HP tank and what reg you have.
Just saying that you will get more than that rule of thumb with most markers.

it would be a completely stock gun.
