Opinions on the Old Matrix's

Hey guys I found a old dye lcd matrix for sale over here in england. Anyone here have opinions on how they are? The marker comes with :
- Eclipse 'SL' Bottomline and Rail, along with fittings and hosing
- Hybrid Hedlok2 feedneck
- Hybrid Inline regulator
- Evolve Beercan/Front Wall and TopHat.

The guy is asking around the equivalent of 120 usd without the bottom line or 130 with the bottom line. Is this a good deal? Thanks, Matt

Is it a Dye, or a GenE? Does it have eyes, or is it blind?

The GenE has the milling on the side that comes back to just in front of the trigger. The milling on the Dye is about twice as long down the side. The one above is a GenE and has an eye breech installed.

The older ones are picky as to the dwell settings, and mine seems to like 14ms. As long as the bolt seals are good, and the bolt is well lubed, mine seems to shoot fine in the shop. It required extensive rebuilding and I haven't had the chance to get it to the field. The older ones don't appear to be the most air efficient guns...

Good luck........

they are great guns for the money...I still have my old team's NYX matrix...it's amazingly smooth, it's a bit heavy...but it keeps up with anything out there. When they are properly dialed in they have little to no kick what so ever.

good luck with it, that's a great price.

I have two Toxics and a Tequila Sunrise at the moment, get a Tadao board and you will never buy another electro, unless you get tired of lifting it

Can you determine if an LCD DM3 has eyes just by looking at it?
