Actually, she was killed with a pepperball.

I can only imagine the damage these would do.

Perhaps they should list these as ".68 rubber shot" or "Steel cored rubber balls in .68cal" Because calling something that isn't filled with paint, a paintball, is kind of stupid.

I know; I just threw them in the same category as non-sporting .68 cal items.

report it to ebay?

come on now... i see no reason that these should be reported. sure they can be dangerous "if getting into the wrong hands" but so can a paintball. are you going to report them too?

I reported it for being in the wrong category more than anything. I debated whether or not to click "submit" for the same reason you stated, Chad. Obviously some numbskull who wants load up his Ion with them can find them no matter how they're categorized. It shouldn't be under paintball.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these things are intended to bounce. They are typically used by police to disperse riots, and are fired at the ground/pavement so that they bounce into the crowd. Firing them directly at people dramatically increases the risk of serious injury (head trauma, broken bones, etc.).

I was currious so I asked the seller if they felt they listed the item correctly, because I pointed out, they don't really have paint, so other than being .68 caliber and being spherical, what do they have to do with paintball?

This was their reply:

They are sold by the manufacturer as target ammunition for paintball. Thus the listing title. Would not Rufus Dawgs Tballs essentially bear the same argument?
Something tells me T-Balls aren't vulcanized rubber, plus they also state on Rufus Dawgs site that you should use T Balls with some special target trap that they offer.

The bounces on these would be intense, id be afraid to shoot even a rioter that is inline with me due to the fact that it would probably come back and hit me too.

Seems fun to try these though. Should call them raccoon balls.
