One of these came up a couple months ago. Somebody mentioned mcb branded paint

Consider this: It takes purchasing 1000 cases of paint before buying one of these becomes practical.

That's not a bad deal.

I have been watching these machines via eBay for a while.

I had met a chemical engineer while I lived in Rome last winter who explained to me how simple it would be create the compound that is used in paintball shells.

I simply think some "well off" person should put some capital forward then a small company or even a paintball Co-op could be created which internally supports players not because they are just marketable but those who are good spokes people for the sport in general.

Could turn the industry on its head if it was done properly.

...sigh... one more thing to buy after I win the lotto :ROTFL:
That would be awesome. The machine itself is not really that expensive, for a capital aquisition for a new start-up.

How much would the materials cost though would be the big question. You would have to find out your cost/unit ($/ball) to find out your true operating bottom line.

Still....makes a guy think just how much $$$ he could talk ninerdomestic into shelling out for "our" own business lol

In talking to some manufacturer reps, one of the critical processes is the drying or curing of the balls after they are formed. I think you need a giant humidor for that.

yea I am studying chemical engineering and broght this up with a proff and we did some work out by hand on operating costs lets just say for what it would cost to get this up and going and producing on a profitable scale I would shell out as much as a phd would cost to get...... maybe after I get the phd I can get this....
