Well this is my first post but I had to share this with you guys....

Someone just won a used geo 2.1 for $1600 plus!! Correct me if I'm wrong A new one with warranty never been used is around $1200.

I don't think the bidders or the winner didn't look at the fine print of shipping cost!!! NIB GEO 2.1 Planet Eclipse Paintball Gun Marker | eBay

It's in the shipping to avoid Paypal fees. I bet you 10 to 1 that when its time to pony up the cash the buyer is going to back out.

No it's right... It's a catch they will keep the price low but bump up the shipping to get people bidding!

Hey if it was an error on the shipping the winner got the gun for cheap but highly doubt the was an error on the shipping....

Ebay will actually shut down auctions with people scamming with high shipping costs, you just have to report them. The buyer could just report the guy to ebay after he won if he didnt realize it.

The buyer holds all the cards. He can challenge the excessive shipping by opening a claim.

Ebay HATES sellers that do this. Why? Ebay makes its money on the final auction price...when the seller puts the bulk of the cost of an item in the shipping column, it takes money out of Ebay's pocket. They will not stand for it.

Man, I wish I had seen this. I am live fairly close. I could have done local pick up and screwed him.
Yes, it is against ebay's rules. If the auction is finalized, the will make the seller sell it at the price and correct shipping. But, good luck getting the seller to ship it.
