| I invented a javalin with a paintball in it's tip, but that idea was rejected along with my idea for aerial borne paintball submunitions and Al's idea for a paintball MLSR that would enter the atmo before descending and devastating the "enemy's" insertion point. We shoulda gone to Inventech. D

 | it's paintball MRLS , multiple rocket launching system. My design used parachutes for the rockets for safety and recovery, and used durandal style aerial positioning before discharge of a paintball payload. The idea was to have launchable rockets that could use laser rangefinding at the launcher to range, position , then expel paintballs in an air burst above targets, and parachute lightweight rockets safety to the ground (or simply get hungup harmlessly in trees). Due to scenario cannon FPS limits, my electro pneumatic semi auto cannister howitzer design with dynamic charge power and angle variation over ranged distance is kind of moot also, although I'd still like to build that, just because. 400 yards before pnuematic cannister detonations is a bit much...

| Okay... If you watch the vidio more than once not a single paintball makes it out of the cups, instead they just soup as the 12 gram pierces causing a mist to happen.. That and any one else get a laugh at how each time to goon throws it the little paintball cups get more and more bent  Ill stick to my cheapo surgical tubing and washable tempra paint ish.

| now, i was thinking about building a paintball 6pack grenade launcher firing 30 ball sabot rounds  I like the idea of the nebelwerfer though..... it'd make one helluva long range muffin gun.

| sorry for the double post, but i just looked at his design... with some significan modifications (ie. larger plunger head, pant that would shoot up at a 10* angle and 6 cups or so instead of the 4, maybe a weighted plastic body instead of steel/aluminum) this could be a viable idea.... it could be readied in seconds, reloaded quickly, and with half a brain, you could add a safety device to it too...
